Ina Kerkhoff is a designer and photographer who lives and works in Berlin, Germany.
She began her artistic career by studying textile design at the renowned Burg Giebichenstein Art Academy which laid the foundation for her later artistic development and creation. Already during her studies she showed a special sense for combining traditional techniques and new technologies.
Kerkhoff discovered the potential of computer technology for art at an early stage. She developed strategies to use digital tools for her artistic work. This made her a pioneer of computer art in Germany.
In addition to her work as a graphic designer and art director in her own studio, Kerkhoff founded the bag label Apfelsina. Her collections are characterized by originality, high-quality workmanship and a distinctive style. All products are manufactured by hand in Berlin.
Since 2015 Kerkhoff has dedicated herself particularly to photography. Here again her strong sense of aesthetics and composition is evident. In her photographs she captures the pulse of the big city as well as the poetry of everyday life. Her works are characterized by a pronounced clarity and precision as well as a minimalist aesthetic.
Kerkhoff is an artist who is constantly reinventing herself. Her work is a reflection of her personality: versatile, innovative and full of passion.
